WHAT IS CAA? The Creative Arts Academy is a week-long residential arts camp hosted by Ozark Christian College. Its mission is to inspire high school artists to create Jesus culture in the world. We believe that a way to change culture is to create better culture, and we’re convinced that this generation of young people is uniquely positioned to impact the world for the gospel using their God-given artistic skills.
WHAT HAPPENS AT CAA? Student artists share unique qualities, and we’ve designed every aspect of the Creative Arts Academy for their distinctive needs. Students select one of fifteen different art “tracks” that becomes their academic focus throughout the week, while also participating in a variety of workshops, daily morning Bible studies, daily evening worship sessions, guest artists, community groups, recreation, and late-night fun. Students will hear from a variety of guest speakers and be led in worship by OCC’sFrontline. See below for detailed info.

PURPOSE At the heart of the Academy is the desire to equip students to be kingdom artists and to serve the church in creating art for the glory of God. Whether it is leading worship through music, writing and recording songs, creating videos for church services, publishing books, or performing dramatic sketches, students will gain confidence and skill to serve more effectively as artists.
